Magic Poppet Design Studio is a one-woman jewelry and art business run by me, Steph Palallos, a full-time artist and designer. I started making jewelry in 2006 after my flat mate’s mom got me into it. It was a cool (and practical) way for me to hone my skills as a sculptor. I get my inspirations from anything and everything—architecture, literature, and people. I like working with different materials, but right now I am into wire and semi-precious stones. I always push myself to explore new things and create eclectic pieces; I eventually want to make more “sculptural” jewelry.
I named my company Magic Poppet because I wanted my jewelry to unleash the mysterious, fun, and funky Enchantress within people. I hope my pieces will inspire their wearer to embrace her (or his!) unique personality and weave her distinctive personal magic into the world.
